AUTHOR INTRODUCTION
Rabindranath Tagore, a man of many talents, was a songwriter, novelist, painter, and playwright who was born, raised and died in his hometown Calcutta, India. His writings are exquisite with a deep connection to emotions. Tagore was the first Indian who was awarded the honorable Nobel Prize in 1913; he also participated in many National Movements then and there. He has written more than fifty volumes of poetry, musical drama, dance-drama, essays, travel diaries, autobiographies, etc… Last but not the least, let’s not forget, that He was behind the National Anthem of India.
